OxyNorm 20mg

OxyNorm 20mg is a formulations with quick release of oxycodone hydrochloride, a strong opioid analgesic used to treat severe pain. It is commonly used for acute pain (e.g., post-surgical) or breakthrough pain in cancer patients who are already on opioid therapy. Unlike OxyContin, OxyNorm gives immediate pain relief, within 15-30 minutes, with effects lasting 4-6 hours.

Key Features:

Active Ingredient: Oxycodone HCl (20mg per capsule or tablet).

Mechanism: Binds to mu-opioid receptors in the central nervous system, causing changes in pain perception.

Formulations: Capsules, liquid, or tablets for rapid absorption.

Indications:
Short-term pain alleviation (e.g., after surgery).

Breakthrough cancer pain treatment.

Dosage and Administration:
